Admissions criteria

Admission to the studies is open to individuals who have obtained a bachelor's, engineer's, or master's degree, or a foreign diploma entitling them to study in the country of issue. The qualification criterion is: a competitive evaluation of the diploma grades.

The order of admission will be determined by the candidate's place on a ranking list based on the candidate's score (WK), calculated according to the following formula.

Point calculation method (candidate's score): WK = 3 x D + O where:

Candidates who intend to choose a teaching specialization—mathematics teaching—must be graduates of a first-cycle teaching specialization in mathematics, which prepared them to teach mathematics (in the second stage of education—primary school). For those admitted to second-cycle studies with a teaching specialization and documented partial pedagogical training (in accordance with ministerial guidelines for training preparing for the teaching profession), this training will be reviewed (modules completed, learning outcomes, ECTS credits, and number of hours completed) to eliminate program differences or to address the need for supplementation. These differences may result from the permissible order of achieving teaching learning outcomes for a given field at different universities. If remedial classes are required, the student is required to pay a fee determined based on separate regulations.

NOTE: In the case of part-time studies, the study programme will be started if the relevant documents are submitted, and the enrolment is made by at least 216candidates
