Admissions criteria

Admission to the studies is open to individuals who have obtained a bachelor's, engineer's, or master's degree, or a foreign diploma entitling them to study in the country of issue. The qualification criterion is a competitive evaluation of the diploma grades. Admission will be based on the candidate's place on a ranking list based on the candidate's score (WK), calculated according to the following formula.

Point calculation method (candidate's score):

WK = 3 x D + O where:

Candidates who intend to choose the teaching specialization of mathematics and computer science must be graduates of a teaching specialization in the mathematics field of study at the first-cycle level, which prepared them to teach two subjects: mathematics and computer science (in the second stage of education – primary school).

Candidates who intend to choose the teaching specialty of teaching mathematics and chemistry must be graduates of a first-cycle teaching specialty in mathematics, which prepared them to teach two subjects: mathematics and chemistry (in the second stage of education – primary school).

Candidates who intend to choose the teaching specialty of teaching mathematics and physics must be graduates of a first-cycle teaching specialty in mathematics, which prepared them to teach two subjects: mathematics and physics (in the second stage of education – primary school).

Candidates who intend to choose the teaching specialty of teaching mathematics must be graduates of a first-cycle teaching specialty in mathematics, which prepared them to teach mathematics (in the second stage of education – primary school). For those qualified for second-cycle studies in teaching specialty, with documented partial pedagogical preparation (in accordance with ministerial guidelines for education preparing for the teaching profession), this preparation will be verified (modules completed, learning outcomes, ECTS credits, and number of hours completed) to eliminate program differences or to address the need to supplement them. These differences may result from the permissible order of achieving teaching learning outcomes for a given field of study at different universities. If remedial classes are required, students are required to pay a fee determined by separate regulations.
