Admissions criteria

Recruitment is based on the evaluation of the required documents submitted by the candidate (after prior registration in the Candidate Internet Registration system).

In the event that the number of candidates exceeds the admission limit, admission is determined by the position on the ranking list, created based on the arithmetic average of all grades from the first-cycle studies.

Candidates may apply for the pedagogy program if they have completed first-cycle studies in pedagogy in the field of:

1.HEALTH EDUCATION, which is the first stage of preparation for the profession of a subject teacher, taking into account the requirements of the subject curriculum: health education;*

2. CORRECTIVE PEDAGOGY (EDUCATIONAL THERAPY) or REHABILITATION PEDAGOGY, which is the first stage of preparation for the profession of a special education teacher in the specified fields.

3. in ANOTHER FIELD**

Uwaga:

 * In the case of a candidate completing a first-cycle degree in pedagogy in the above-mentioned areas at another university/faculty or studies in pedagogy in the above-mentioned areas started before 2019, obtaining full qualifications (eligibility to practice as a teacher) in second-cycle studies in pedagogy requires completing a paid block of program differences appropriately tailored to the given area.

** In the case of a candidate completing studies in pedagogy in a specialization other than the above-mentioned areas, obtaining full entitlements (qualifications to practice as a subject teacher or qualifications to practice as a special education teacher in a specified area) at the second-cycle studies in pedagogy requires completing a paid block of program differences appropriately adapted to the given area: 1) health education or 2) corrective pedagogy (educational therapy) or 3) resocialization pedagogy.

In the case of choosing the specialization REHABILITATION PEDAGOGY AND INTERCULTURAL EDUCATION in second-cycle studies in the field of pedagogy, the candidate may opt out - by signing a statement - of the teacher training path and the completion of program differences from the first-cycle program. In such a case, the candidate will complete studies in the field of rehabilitation pedagogy and intercultural education without obtaining qualifications to practice as a special education teacher. NOTE: The mandatory completion of differences applies to the pedagogical preparation block and is associated with a fee for the specified modules.
